Do you accept health insurance?
We accept Aenta, Anthem, and Partnership Health Plan (Sometimes called "Carelon", or "Medi-cal"). Not all of our theapists accept all insurances. We are happy to discuss insurance options with you.
Do you offer sliding scale rates?
We offer sliding scale appointments to people who are not able to access services at our usual rates, or who do not have insurance. Sliding scale appointments are time-limited to 12 sessions, and a fee will be agreed upon prior to our first appointment. Please let us know if you would like to discuss our sliding scale rates
Where else can I find an affirming therapist?
If we don't seem like the right fit for you, we encourage you to check out www.ncamhp.org to find another therapist is Humboldt County who may be a better fit for you.

$100 per individual counseling session

Where is your office?
The main Rhizome office is located at 822 G Street in Arcata, CA.

The nearest bus stop is at the Arcata Transit Center, which is 2 blocks away. There is ample free street parking around the Plaza.

Our office is on the second floor and there is a flight of 25 stairs, with no elevator. If this poses an access issue for you, please let us know so that we can meet in an alternate location, or via video.
There are 2 all gender restrooms located on the same floor as our office.
